About Us
Rowans Music was founded in 1988 in Milton, by Steven Levitt, when he and his wife Lynette, lived in the Rowans. Over the years, this has developed into a successful piano teaching practice, with a variety of other strings to its bow!
For a period, both Steven and Lynette carried out repairs to stringed instrument bows. Steven is available as a vocal coach/choir director/accompanist, having been involved with a number of choirs, music and theatre groups. He is a regular accompanist for students taking instrumental music examinations. Steven is also an experienced music typesetter and proof reader, and has recently prepared material for publication on behalf of a local violin teacher, complete with CD recordings.
